Minimal force required for the lever

Lever

A lever is a tool that transmits force using a rod. With a lever, you can work with it having little force.
The length of the lever can adjust the minimum force required to move the lever.

Work at the lever

According to the ‘principle of work,’ the amount of work I have done to the lever and the amount of work that the lever has done to an object are equal.

Load (N) × The distance from the fulcrum to the load (m) = The minimum force to move the lever (N) × The distance from the fulcrum to the effort (m)

In a laboratory environment, it is recommended to move the lever slowly. This prevents unnecessary force is applied to the lever.
